Copying Jennifer

So I'm copying my friend Jennifer with a "pet peeve" list...

1: Driving in the left hand lane! Sometimes I think that I went through drivers education on Mars or something. So here it is people, If you are not passing someone or getting close to where you need to turn left. Get out of the left lane and let everyone else pass. You're slowing up progress and pissing me off. Thank you!
P.S. this applies in town as well as on the freeway!

2. Not moving out of the middle of the aisle in the grocery store, or any store for that matter. We all have peripheral vision I know you see me so please move over a bit so I can get by. I don't think it's too much to ask for people to just automatically move to the side while they're looking at something. That's what I do.

Miss Gentry

So my best friends daughter Gentry stayed with us this weekend. She's 2 and WOW she has a lot of energy! I'm pretty sure I lost 10 pounds this weekend just chasing her around and playing with her! We went to kids castle and lasted and hour then we both took a 3 hour nap! phew! We played Barbies, swam in Auntie Rufus's pool (bathtub) and made bubble soup. We went Barbie shopping, painted our nails and Miss Gentry did Uncle Ron's hair this morning with her Barbie brush! He looked very beautiful in the words of the 2 year old... I'm pretty sure I need a weekend from my weekend! I had loads of fun but didn't have a clue how much energy it takes to keep up! I've got to hand it to all of you momma's out there! good luck and nice work!

Tara's bridal shower

So we had Tara's shower today at Carrie's house. It was a champagne brunch and the food was great and the drinks were great! Thanks to Carrie and Olivia, you guys are so creative! Miss Scarlett was a big help to aunt Tara! I talked Danielle into going with me and we had a great time! Thanks girls! and congrats to Tara the bride to be!!!

Pink hair

So... I have sorta pink hair now and it's AWESOME!!! but my hubby hates it! I think he's ok with the pink but doesn't like the cut or the length but I really really like it. Do I keep it this way or do I grow it out the way he likes it but I don't really care for???

The Pisters

We are the Pister family... Ron, Ruth, Jake (16), Clay (12) & Chevy my pet rabbit. We live in Yakima in our dream house on 3.5 acres, lots of yard work but I don't mind. Ron loves drag racing and has lots of toys. I like playing softball watching the races, and anything outdoors! Jake just got his permit and loves to go driving with me, he's doing pretty good too. He likes to play football and his x-box. I'm pretty sure he's addicted to Guitar Hero. Clay likes playing x-box and he loves to help me cook. He says he's going to be a chef some day, we shall see. He likes to play soccer and basketball and ride his bike as long as he has someone to play with. As a family we love to travel and hope to do lots more of it! We love to go camping and don't do it enough. In a nut shell that is "us" and I wouldn't change it for the world!
